An opportunity to Walk Our Talk and get together and stand as One 🌿🔥👣
To protect this Natural Landmark of the Sunshine Coast, Indigenous Heritage and Cultural Significance and the Community living in this Powerful Place.
We need urgent action, we need many involved, raise funds and so much more.
Once more mining and profit interests are put above Local Indigenous and wider Community interests and Flora, Fauna and Country are under thread.
Join us on this evening of raising awareness about the battle ahead and hear what you as a caretaker of country can do to support the Traditional Owners who have decided to take on the corporate and political powers.
We are all custodians now and we have an opportunity to raise to the occasion and stand as One against destruction of country.
This is a positive event that aims to inspire to strong and peaceful action and standing our ground from a place of Love.
On the evening:
- Welcome to Country by Aunty Dhinnawhan
- Talk on the mountains and the battle ahead by Jinibara Descendents BJ DjiniDjini Murphy and his mother Aunty Zeitha Jalamala
- Connecting Sound Meditation and healing practices for country and people with Marco Debie (mago menla) and Joydah Mae
-Perfomance by the amazing Joydah Mae Bernardo, with support of Damian Campbell and Haitch Azhimself
- Q and A and mingle discussion
There will be Chai and snacks for sale and the entrance is by donation.
All funds go to support protecting the mountains.

We hope to see many community there and that this may be the start of a powerful community effort to stop the ongoing destruction of community and sacred land for short term profits.
